Ballroom Dance Class with Emmy

About Emmy:

Teaching ballroom dancing is my passion. I have taught ballroom dancing  for  more than 13 years now and have also taught ballroom dancing in cruise ships.

I have been trained  by  professional champions in international ballroom dancing here in Dallas 2-3 times a week for about four years. I had two months training at Arthur Murray studio here in Dallas. In addition, I have attended dance camps and had the opportunity to learn from well-known champions in American style of dancing from teachers like Jim Moranto, Ron Montes, the Kunits, the Pattacks, Bob Powers and Julia, Victor Veyrasett and Heather Smith, even going to Argentina to learn Argentine tango.

 A devoted dancer and instructor, I study video dance tapes continuously and practice 3 to 4 times a week.

It gives me so much pleasure and a sense of accomplishment when I see my students dancing, executing steps, moving around the floor with so much grace and passion.  It has always been my philosophy that as long as the student is enthusiastic to learn and listens to suggestions  to improve,  then supervision and instructions  are given unselfishly even if I have to extend the time of instruction.

I am determined to offer my best, professional instructions to help my students look graceful and execute wonderful steps and patterns of different dances with style and technique.
